The exterior is made of a waterproof high-performance fabric. The spoiler fabric has been with Welter Shelter since they started. It is a cross-grain ribbing canvas structure. Stress and tugging resistant. Durable due to its weaving structure. Yet the fabric feels very soft and cotton-like while it is woven out of 100% polyester. They then laminate the outer cloth with a membrane to secure waterproofness. The fabric feels very flexible and durable at the same time. Once again equipped with a DWR coating to repel water. The insulation they use is the patented technique by MEIDA. MEIDA is used by the Danish military because they need the lightest, thinnest, yet warmest material around.
